About Me
I'm a bilingual clinical social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto, with over five years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide variety of emotional and mental health challenges. I am licensed to practice in Ontario and Quebec, providing psychotherapy services in Ontario and psychosocial support in Quebec. I have worked in hospitals, CLSCs (local community health centers), community organizations, as well as in private practice. At Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, I was part of an intensive program supporting individuals living with treatment-resistant obsessive-compulsive disorder. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how distress can manifest in daily life, and the importance of welcoming people with kindness, practical tools, and a grounded presence.
In my practice, I pay close attention to both what people experience inside and the factors that surround them, including their relationships, life stories, and often-unspoken experiences. This helps me understand the whole person, not just individual symptoms. My approach is rooted in respect, openness, and flexibility, drawing on a blend of systemic, emotional, dialectical, cognitive, and trauma-informed methods. I also bring an intercultural perspective that recognizes the diverse ways identity and culture shape each person’s experience.
I’ve learned that therapy and psychosocial support are not one-size-fits-all. They can hold space for both vulnerability and strength, for what feels difficult and for what brings hope. My intention is to offer a space where you can bring what matters to you, make sense of it in your own way, and move forward at a pace that feels right.
